Painted Toe Nails

I got out nail polish to paint my toe nails and instantly had little people wanting theirs painted, so I obligued. I was thinking it wouldn't last long anyway (thining primarily of Abe's of course), but that "10 day no chip" polish proved me wrong!

Painted Toe Nails

I painted 50 nails before I finally got to mine. Julie and Mallory did both hands and feet. In an effort to preserve some gender identity, I limited Abe to only his toes.

Fire Flies

One of my favorite parts of the trip was dusk time in Ohio. Often we'd be driving back from Ryan & Katie's at this time in the evening and that was right when the fire flies would come out in droves. All of the fields would light up and it was simply stunning. This picture doesn't even come close to doing it justice; some things you can't capture on film. I couldn't help but thank God for His creativity in making them and I'm pretty sure He was enjoying them just as much as I was.

Big Ben

While out shopping one day we drove by an Amish petting farm and decided to stop. It was quite impressive, as was the size of this horse - Big Ben. Four years ago this horse would have been the biggest in the world! While standing there for the picture, Abe said, "Daddy, let's move away from the big horse." It was a little TOO big for him.

This was a great little amusement park perfect for the kids!! We didn't hit the pool, but had dinner, hit the rides, and played on the playground. They had SO much fun!!
