We went to the patch and got our pumpkin, so now it was time to carve it and I wanted to be sure to get that in before we left on vacation. Once again, Abe surprised me. I expected him to be interested in the guts and goo of the pumpkin, but the minute we cut the top off, Abe wanted nothing to do with it. Mommy cleaned it out and once that task was complete Abe thought the pumpkin was cool again. We let Daddy design it, and out came the drill. Why was I surprised? The coolest part for Abe was putting the candle in once it was finished. Oh, and we also discovered that Dexter likes pumpkin. Who'd have thunk?
