Me Box

by jodi on September 25th, 2011

This weekend Abe and I worked on a school project.  For show and tell next week Abe had to create a “Me Box”.  Essentially, we had to find a small box, decorate it, and fill it with six items that describe Abe.  So I dug up a small box and we covered it in green construction paper because that is his favorite color.  We then spent time decorating it with stamps and stickers.  Abe was especially excited about setting up a camping scene (shown on the side in the picture of the right).

He then (with some encouragement from Mommy and Daddy) picked six items that best describe him: a baby picture of him and Dexter, a family picture, an elephant (favorite animal), a sports car (because he’s super fast), Buzz Lightyear (favorite toy and he can fly like Abe wants to do), and a football (favorite sport).  I love this idea and wish I could be there to watch all the kids share their boxes.  I really hope his teacher takes some pictures of him sharing his!!
