Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley came to visit us this fall!  All the way from Ohio, my niece Emeri sent Stan to visit the wild Texas frontier.  For about a month he traveled with us to playgrounds… and libraries… and farms… and other random places.  Unfortunately for him, we’re a bit of a boring lot.  I had great aspirations of taking him into the weird Austin culture, but it just didn’t happen.  I did make an effort to get to the Capital one afternoon, but then remembered that the dome had scaffolding all around it, so I didn’t fight for a nice close shot.  Oh well.  We still had a lot of fun with him and I know he was sad to have to return to the Midwest (he told me so).
