Happy Halloween
It felt like there was so much going on this October to celebrate the fall season and Halloween – pumpkin patches, block parties, school parties, special play groups, etc. So much that it seemed to take forever to actually get to Halloween itself. Don’t get me wrong, all fun stuff and we had a blast, but very busy and tiresome at times. We could have easily done double what we did, and I’m trying not to regret missing out on some of the things that we didn’t do.
We did get to the end of the month though, and with flying colors. Of course, the craziness ended on the 31st itself with Trick-or-Treating. We went out with the rest of the neighborhood to load up on candy. Abe dressed up as a monkey and April was a lady bug. April, as typical, just went along for the ride. Abe had a blast. We went around with some of our neighborhood friends and that was an added bonus for him (and us parents too).
