Solicitation for Personal Projects
I have been super-duper busy with remodeling work around here, and have neglected the photoblog. It’s high time I got some pictures up there. I have a few ready to go, but not near enough to catch up to today. Thus my request to you.
Would you be kind enough to suggest a photography project. They can be concrete ideas like “stick” or “road” or they can be abstract ideas such as “happiness” or “masculine.” One idea could be “a day in the life” so I gotta carry the camera around and document pretty much a typical day. Please come up with a project that you’d like to see. I could use the challenge, and it’ll get me out with the camera. Just don’t use “dog.”

I suggest you take advantage of your location and take pictures of “spring” type objects that those living in the colder areas of the nation can enjoy. E.G. Jodi in shorts, sun, beautiful (no snow) scenery, etc. Although we’re enjoying excellent weather here in FL, I’m now storing these memories for next year!

More babies & kids they are so fun! Or Maybe you could do a fatherhood or motherhood theme and do parents and “kids” of all ages.

You could do the 100 steps challenge:
“The challenge is to pick a place to start and a destination and then stop and take a picture exactly every 100 steps along the way from A to B. This forces you to find something interesting to shoot or to shoot something in an interesting way.
It is fun and you will be surprised at some of the gems you come up with!”
There’s a flickr group for this project (http://www.flickr.com/groups/100steps/), but you could just post the photos to your blog.
I like the 100 steps suggestion.
But counting to 100 over and over? Ouch!
How about a picture of this blog containing the same picture that you are taking. Wow!

This is SUCH a cool idea. The 100 steps is my favorite idea suggested, but all are good enough to go with.
If you’re up for it, announce the topic of your next challenge, and I’ll join. After we can compare photos. Maybe a couple of other bloggers would be up for it, too?
