Personal Boom Threshold

by mike on March 25th, 2005

I installed an amplifier in the truck the other day. As a man, I am averse to any sort of reading of manuals, but this time I had to check it. There was a dial on the amp that said “EQ”, which I interpreted to mean “equalizer.” But there was another dial that said “freq”, which might have performed the same function. I couldn’t tell. So after a peek in the manual, I understood. The “EQ” was for, and I’m not kidding, “finding your personal boom threshold.”

  1. Make sure you have it set as indicated by figure 1:

  2. That would be a much funnier comment if you weren’t stripping html…

  3. Not stripping html anymore. Now your second comment doesn’t make sense!
