Beached Airplane and a Giant Monkey

by mike on January 26th, 2005

Jodi and I were on the beach in a ground floor condo unit. I took a gander out the rear left door facing the beach, and was surprised to see a small jet, possibly an MD80 airliner, had landed on the beach. I assumed because of some type of in-flight emergency. They had set up a temporary fence for quite some distance down the beachfront, where presumably the plane was to take off and return to a proper facility. Problem was, there was a gigantic monkey hanging over the plane, just behind the cockpit area. When I say big, I mean huge. it had wrapped its legs and tail completely around the airplane and was hanging upside down, very docile and content. The airplane must have been sitting quite high off the ground, because the monkey didn’t even reach the ground from its position, though his body was proportional to his legs. Jodi pondered if the monkey had caused the emergency landing. Others were standing around, gawking, very close to the animal, unconcerned about any sort of injury that could be caused by the beast. Then I woke up.

  1. Dude, your dreams are WHACK! Imagine a small MD-80 landing in the sand. And then imagine a monkey large enough to wrap its legs around it! It boggles the mind.
This is good material though. Maybe I’ll start posting some of my dreams.
