Today’s tasks

Today, Jodi and I are having breakfast with Carol to pick which verses we would like read at the ceremony…and mostly just to have breakfast. I’m hungry. We’re gonna eat at Kerbey Lane, which is legendary in Austin as being the place to go at 3:25am for a meal. Oh, there are others open 24 hours, for sure, but Kerbey Lane has a funky reputation and a great selection of pancakes. It’s definitely unique to Austin, unless you go to the 183 location, which for some reason, has this weird ambiance to it. It almost feels like the staff would rather you just stayed home. At least that’s been my experience.
Well, after breakfast, I’m heading to Wimberley to help build the arbor we’ll use in the ceremony. Ahh, more building. I have all these dreams to do these building projects; like a headboard and baseboard, a wine rack, maybe an entertainment center (a simple one). I actually already have the hardware for the headboard and baseboard (rail hangars).
